These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for Hohensalzburg Fortress through our online booking platform. By completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. The contract is concluded upon successful payment confirmation.
Tickets are available for purchase online through our booking platform. All prices are displayed in Euros and include applicable taxes. The discounted prices shown are exclusive to online purchases and may not be available at the venue entrance.
We offer several ticket categories including All-Inclusive tickets (with or without funicular) and Basic tickets (with or without funicular). Each ticket type provides access to specific areas and attractions as described on the booking page. Child tickets are valid for children aged 6 to 14 years. Children under 6 years enter free of charge.
Upon successful payment, an electronic ticket (e-ticket) will be sent to the email address provided during booking. Please present this e-ticket (printed or on your mobile device) at the fortress entrance. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided is correct and accessible.
Tickets are valid for the date selected during the booking process. Entry is permitted during regular opening hours on the selected date. Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the person named in the booking.
Tickets may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the selected visit date for a full refund. Cancellation requests must be submitted via email. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the visit date, no-shows, or partially used tickets.
All payments are processed securely through PayGlobal. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal. The total amount is charged at the time of booking. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the price paid.
Visitors must comply with the fortress rules and regulations, follow instructions from staff, and respect the historical site and other visitors. The fortress management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove visitors who do not comply with these rules.
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on our website. However, we are not liable for temporary closures of specific areas due to maintenance, weather conditions, or special events. In such cases, partial refunds may be offered at our discretion.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Austria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Salzburg, Austria.
